Trailer work day and adult social
Hello everyone.
Just wanted to remind all of the adults of the troop that our trailer work day/social campout is less than 2 weeks away. I am trying to get a head count to start preparing for our meals. If you are planning on going, I really need to hear from you. The plan is to leave from the church at 9am on Saturday, June 26 to head to Chitopa and to camp at the Gerrity's property overnight. While there, the plan is to do repairs to the trailers and to reshuffle the belongings to get the trailers ready for campouts again. We will top off a great day of work with an evening of socializing. Then, we will return on Sunday.
If you want to go, but just don't want to camp, you are in luck. The Gerrity's do have some beds available and room on the floor for sleeping bags or cots. You can sleep indoors.
This event will happen rain or shine. Dennis has enough room in his workshop for us to work on trailers indoors if need be.
It will be a fun event. We need helping hands. Every adult in the troop is encouraged to attend.
